How could I visit a chinese snack bar and not order skewers and jian bing? Situated directly opposite the uni, it was impossible to resist.
We ordered a few skewers of pork belly slices, chicken feet, beans, fish balls and chicken along with jian bing and a beef brisket noodle casserole.
I loved the noodles! The soup was familiar and I loved the sour element of the soup from the vinegar. The jian bing was more than I expected, expectation wise and portion wise, I loved the crunchy texture from the crispy won ton skin. Lastly, the skewers were so good though all I will say is, wow what kind of slicing method was employed to slice pork slices that paper thin?
All in all, I definitely would recommend this place if you want a taste of Chinese street food that is decently priced yet quick to eat near the university!A wonderful restaurant that deserves more love and support. The beef brisket noodle casserole is so flavourful and aromatic, always leaves you wanting more! The beef is especially tender and delicious, and goes well with the tomato and noodles. Also great value for money with the large portions! The staff are welcoming and kind, with a comfortable atmosphere that feels like home.

Tasty, high quality food made with care. The service is polite and friendly and the overall atmosphere is very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place and any of their casserole dishes to my friends and colleagues.

Great little spot! A must visit for some authentic Chinese food, couldn't reccomend more! The Chinese omlette is just superb 👍

Everything is fine and the shop owners are a lovely couple. They'll even persuade you to order less when you've ordered too much, rather than having you order a bunch of food that you can't eat and pack it home. However, the location and decoration are general and not convenient for parking.

The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. I found the price quite reasonable. If you’re going to go definitely try the pork buns and the Aubergine!!!
Really yummy food and friendly service!! Wi definitely come here again. The jianbing (pancake) was sooo tasty!

一进门就可以看出老板和老板娘都是精心布置过的，中英文化结合，还有烤串与洋酒。还有腰子哟，大家都懂得🤪。而且现在为了回馈大家，分量比原来翻了好多，还有现金折扣。最主要的是老板跟老板娘真的是超级nice，让人有种家的感觉。不用说太多，来体验一次就知道了。夏日吃着烤串喝着啤酒吹着牛逼，以后这里估计要成为帕金森门口的一道特有的风景线了。🤣
